“Excellent Service”

Tony in banquets was able to accommodate every request and go above and beyond the duties of a normal banquet manager. He made our meeting perfect. The rest of the staff was kind and welcoming. The Garland covered parking for our meeting and even got us coffee as a favor. 10/10 will come back.

“Great Room & Excellent Service!”

We stayed at the Garland for 4 nights in December, and we loved our stay! The room was stylishly decorated and very clean. Service was also excellent. We ordered room service a few times due to our schedule, and the food was delicious and came within 15 minutes. I also had some random requests (e.g. wanting to fill up my water bottle), and the front desk was always very helpful. We also found the shuttle to Universal Studios very useful--no need to deal with parking!

“The Only Place to Stay in North Hollywood!”

I stayed at The Garland in August and then again in October and, as usual, the experience was top notch. From the time I arrived to checkout, the customer service was exemplary. The food is fabulous and the delicious breakfast room service was there within 20 minutes. Everyone from the front desk, to the bartenders, to the pool attendants were friendly and very attentive to comfort and detail. Some reviewers may say it's expensive but not when you consider the caliber of food and service. It is worth every penny and I believe is reasonably priced for the quality. Everyone treated me as if I was the only guest... and a VIP at that! I will never stay anywhere else!

“Charming Hotel with Great Service”

For our wedding, we both wanted elegant & full service, but we were split on charming & quaint vs. grand & show stopping. We thought we would never agree on a place as a result. Then, we met with the Garland. The hotel, with its history, location, and details (pool, courtyard mirrors, Hollywood references in its décor, etc.) made it show stopping. The ballroom was grand with its light fixtures, & ornate walls, but was also warm & cozy in its coloring and lighting. The park for the ceremony felt like a secret, hidden garden – intimate, charming, warm, and so elegant! All this carried throughout the hotel – cue the fountains e.g. The service was impeccable – food, plating, and waiting during cocktail and dinner – as with it being boutique. Our suite was cute, very clean and spacious, had energy about it, and very secure (key to get parking/building, and a large safe in the closet). We will definitely come back for a staycation!
